Last week found us strolling along the many canals of this beautiful city.. I honestly do not think I have ever seen so many bikes in my life.. But I came to see the waterways.. the myriad of canal houses..

Side Streets – Riga

Narrow Cobblestone Street

I love to walk the cobblestone side streets and back alleys… especially in the early morning when no one is out..or at least, very few people.. There always seems to be the straggling partier from the night before..

The streets are quiet..almost lonely

I meander aimlessly through the narrow lanes…
