I love walking through Kyiv on a clear and sunny day.. There is no telling when something will just beg to be photographed.. such as this street scene of an apartment building with all the different balconies..all unique…just like the city itself.

Opera House and Tetralna Square
The National Opera House on Tetralna Square in Kyiv, Ukraine. I haven’t been to the opera yet, but I love going to the ballet here.. Prices are very reasonable and it is an overall wonderful experience.

St. Michaels’ Golden Domed Cathedral and Mykhailivska Square .. A beautiful cathedral just a short walk from the Maidan (Independence Square) and a great stop on the way to Andrew’s Descent (Andriyivsky Uzviz in Ukrainian)

Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv, Ukraine.. One of the most recognizable buildings in the city due to the bright red color.. Just a short walk from the center of the city..
A statue depicting Mary and Jesus…this is in the courtyard of Notre Dame cathedral in Marseille, France..
Arles, France.. one of my favorite places in Europe..When the sun starts to set, it lights up all the buildings on the east bank..
Buda Castle and Chain Bridge …
The view of Buda from the Pest side of the river was absolutely amazing.. especially at night. You can see why it is one of the prettiest places in Europe…
